Leveraging Advertising to Help Individuals With Bipolar & Depression


Case Study: re:MIND

re:MIND provides free and confidential support groups for individuals living with, or family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorder.

The Challenge:

One major challenge they face is fulfilling the need for free mental health support in the Houston area. As a small nonprofit, re:MIND has to be strategic with their ad dollars in order to find people in the community who need these resources the most.

The Strategy:

In order to increase reach and awareness within their local community and nationally, we developed an integrated approach leveraging both Google Ad Grants and Facebook Ads. The Facebook ads provided another opportunity to reach a specific, targeted audience. This dual approach allowed re:MIND to reach an audience that was searching for resources on how to cope with depression and bipolar disorder—and connecting them to support groups in their area. 

In 2019, we connected more than 12,500 individuals with mental health support groups.


Of re:MIND’s total website visitors came directly from the Google Ad Grant.

  • Advertising Strategy to Provide Support Groups 

    We managed their Google Ad Grant to strategically target the right audience to help them find mental health resources. We created Facebook ads to increase brand awareness and reach new audiences. With these ads, we were able to help an additional 600 people find a local support group.
