4 Health Organizations Helping High-Risk Individuals

As we continue to navigate this global pandemic, we want to take a moment to acknowledge all the health workers around the world. We thank all the health professionals on the frontline risking their own health to save others. We thank the organizations for producing resources to help patients during this challenging time. And we thank everyone who is working tirelessly to help others make it through this crisis.

Today, we want to recognize and applaud some of our amazing clients that are focused on helping high-risk patients (and their families) during this crisis.

Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA)

OCRAAs the largest private funder of ovarian cancer research, OCRA invests in innovative, promising research. OCRA is THE voice for the ovarian cancer community: fighting for more resources and policies on Capitol Hill, educating future health professionals about the disease, and providing hope and insight through their peer support program, Woman to Woman.

During this time of uncertainty, OCRA continues to provide its researchers with secure funding for their life-saving investigative work. Get to know their researchers here.

In response to coronavirus, OCRA has curated a great page of resources for its patient community. They summarized it best: “While every person on this planet is affected by COVID-19, those newly diagnosed with ovarian cancer, undergoing treatment, or in remission may have additional concerns – from weighing the need for treatment against exposure to the virus, to how the pandemic may be affecting routine care.”
