Media Cause is 501(c)3 non-profit that helps other non-profits with online marketing. We operate a volunteer network for smaller non-profits that don’t have budget as well as a full service search and social agency for larger non-profits. Our agency clients include: Futures Without Violence, Rainforest Alliance, NRDC, Wearethorn.org (formerly Demi & Ashton Foundation), and more.

Social Media Community Manager
This is an excellent opportunity to use your social media skills to do good. Our Community Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of social profiles and communities for non-profits on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, and Pinterest. We develop and execute strategies to grow communities for our clients and increase engagement with their supporters.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ongoing research to develop a strong understanding of target audiences
- Communication/collaboration with clients to understand their cause, online goals, and key messaging/limitations
- Development of network specific strategies to grow support base and increase engagement
- Curation of content from a combination of original Media Cause content, 3rd party content sources and in-house assets
- Daily posts to social network
- Manage all interaction with community on the social network (responding to comments, answering/routing questions, and escalating concerns)
- Compile and share monthly engagement reports using our proprietary methodology and 3rd party analytics tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience managing and growing a Facebook and Twitter community on behalf of a business, non-profit or project.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Comfortable managing relationships with senior level clients.
- Experience setting up and optimizing a Facebook Ad campaign
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proficiency with Google Apps
- Design capabilities, basic HTML knowledge and Photoshop skills preferred

Google Grants Account Manager
We are hiring an AdWords expert to manage Google Grant accounts for our premium agency clients. You will be responsible for all aspects on AdWords management as well as managing client relationships. Here are the details of responsibilities for our Google Grant Account Managers:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Research target audience search behavior; develop supporter profiles
- Determine success metrics and corresponding landing pages
- Select keywords to match audience and goals
- Organize keywords into themed ad groups for ongoing optimization
- Write 2-3 creatives per ad group to drive conversions of stated goals
- Collaborate with web master to install Google Analytics conversion tracking code
- Create custom performance dashboard
- Track effectiveness of campaigns; optimize keywords and creatives
- Monthly performance reviews with clients
- Work with creative team to advise on landing pages needed to improve Quality Score
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years experience managing and optimizing all aspects of AdWords accounts, with proven results for clients
- Must be AdWords Certified
- Must be comfortable managing relationships with senior level clients
- Work experience at Google a plus
